2005 FLY-OUT SCHEDULE
All fly-outs are scheduled for departure at 7:43 AM unless
changed. Pilot's briefing will begin promptly at 7:22 AM on the day
of the fly-out. Please BE PREPARED PRIOR
TO FLY-OUT DAY! Use the following helpful instructions
to help prepare for the fly-out day.
You should be dressed appropriately for the weather you will be flying.
If it is cold weather, be sure to bring your warm clothes, snow mobile
suits, long johns, etc. Include your gloves, scarf and any other cold
weather gear you would normally use. Your ultralight should be preflighted
and fuel tank full. Include your cross country kit, radio, camera and
any other items you require to make a cross country flight. It is suggested
you be at Turlock Airpark one hour prior to the Pilot's briefing in
order to preflight, fill your fuel tank, load your cross country kit
(be sure to carry some water), check your radio and check your GPS.
Be sure to secure your Sectional Chart and pilotage notes. Please note
that the day of the fly-out is NOT the time to start making needed maintenance
and repairs to your ultralight! Prepare in advance so you can enjoy
the experience of flying with your fellow aviators.
